Clear answers for a private product.
If your question is not covered, contact support without including sensitive relationship information.
Is Bonded a dating or public community app?
No. Bonded is a private relationship-management space for consenting adults who already choose to share a dynamic. There is no public feed, public directory or discovery marketplace.
Can one partner control the other person’s account?
No. Each person controls their own account, sessions, privacy, data sharing, consent and ability to leave. Relationship roles are chosen labels only.
What happens when someone activates emergency pause?
Dynamic-specific tasks, recurring routines, follow-ups, deductions and pressure notifications stop immediately. The other partner is notified respectfully and cannot cancel the pause.
Can administrators read private journals?
Not through ordinary administration tools. Private journals, wellbeing details, safewords and limits are excluded. Any exceptional process must be separately enabled, reasoned, time-limited and audited.
Does Bonded support multiple relationships?
The platform owner can allow one or multiple active spaces. Every space is isolated so a partner in one cannot access data from another.
Is Bonded only for specific role labels?
No. Choose neutral labels, common power-exchange terms or fully custom titles. Both partners approve their own title, and terminology never changes safety rights.
Can I self-host it?
Yes. The repository ships with Docker Compose, PostgreSQL, a background worker, scheduler, backups and reverse-proxy-ready configuration.
